Process
Our jewellery is made from a product called precious metal clay which is an organic non toxic clay made up of silver particles bound together with an organic binder.
For our fingerprint jewellery, we gently roll out the clay and take the impression.
Our mini art is scanned, reduced in size and "stamped" which we then push into the precious metal clay to reproduce the art into silver.
With our little mitts, tiny toes, sealed with a kiss and paws! ranges we use inkless wipes and special paper to take the imprint. This is then scanned, reduced in size and "stamped". Again, this is pushed in to the precious metal clay to reproduce the imprint.
The pieces are then cut to the desired shape.
Your jewellery is then engraved with your special names or messages and hand finished before being fired in a kiln. Once fired the organic binder is burnt away leaving 99.99% solid silver.
The final stage is to antique and hand polish your precious prints to your requested finish.
They are then attached to one of our beautiful sterling silver chains, bracelets, bookmark* or keyring attachment which compliment your precious print. Your cufflinks are finished using swivel post attachments which make them sturdy to wear.
Your pieces are then carefully packaged in our stunning boxes and delivered back to you.
Making wonderful keepsake gifts you would love to give, receive or wear yourself!
